Artistic Style

A Home ‘Portrait’ has the presence and quality of an antique print—rendered in delicate ink line—it displays with elegant stature whether among Chippendale, Queen Anne or rustic Adirondack. Cherish a fine art portrayal of your fond vacation retreat, beloved childhood residence, grand estate or proud home. I have drawn more than fifty home portraits of the most historically significant and gracious homes in this notably historic region.

For eight years as the commissioned artist, Susanne’s drawings depicted the homes featured each spring in the Shenandoah-Potomac House and Garden Tour. She characterizes these as home portraits.
